I want to raise a baby coon. Is there anywhere I can adopt one? If thats possible.?

not a good idea, when they hit puberty they develop an attitude. they are wild and will always be wild. they will wreck your house, they can and do bite. full grown raccoons- males (boars) and females (sows) can sometimes get up to 40 pounds. they become territorial, they are smart, and amply equipped to hunt- they will eat kittens, puppies and I saw a vid on national geographic once where a raccoon actually hunted, killed, and ate a full grown wild rabbit. They can carry rabies. It is much better to admire them from afar. If you want to help then join groups to stop habitat destruction or you could volunteer at a wildlife rehab place, they often get baby coons. the reason you don't see many adults at those places is that they are difficult to handle and are usually released back into the wild once they are grown.
