UTI's and crystals in male cats?

Our cat Guapo had the same problem. Our vet told us it was our water, which is mineral heavy. Try getting a brita or pur filter to attach to your sink and always refill the water bowls from the filter, not the plain tap. He's been UTI and blood free ever since we started doing this about 4 years ago.
