Fraternity??? Yes or NO....and if so which one???

Hey im about to be a freshman at the University of Houston next yr. Wanted to know what everyone thinks about joining a frat and which ones are the best to join.....I'm gonna be there on scholorship so i need to maintan good grades also....would a frat get too much in the way of my studies??
