Is your God truly merciful?

We all claim God is merciful, loving, caring, compionate etc! We often say we are all Gods children. But how many of you out there would condemn your child to the pits of hell for all eternity! on the soul basis of not believing in him! Not having faith in him! Are we to blame for not being born to that religion? What have we done to not be born in that religion? If you say i was needed to be tested then y? Christians, Muslim and Jews, condemn all to hell who do not believe in Christ or Allah, is this the act of a compionate lord? What satisfaction or knowledge does he attain from us going to hell? is he so arrogant that he needs us to believe in him in order to enter his abode? Why y do we only get one opportunity, is that fair? Is that merciful? If this was done to a person on earth would we accept this? Would this not be in violation of our human rights?
