Lack of Etiquette in Restaurant?

You should try going out with my 74 year old father-in-law. He picks his nose at the table and then pulls out his prize and looks it over before wiping it on the tablecloth (that is, if we aren't fast enough handing him a napkin). He also puts empty er containers or rolls he has taken a bite out of into the roll basket (again, if we don't catch him in time). Yeeeech!!
