Separated man, wife waiting?

his wife and family are of no concern to this man, why would the wife be waiting on him? she should be planning her future, and seeking the advice of an attorney on how to come out of this as financially well as she can. he has already left her, there is no marriage anymore, based on his actions. its part of his character and who he really is, he doesn't love her or the kids, and should have to pay dearly in divorce court.
