Should I be criticised for painting a person red?

How dare they question your system, of course they should be punished old boy but a mere lashing is not enough for this gross insubordination I think you should have them all tared and feathered this would work as both a punishment and a better way of identification, plus it would be most humorous watching them go about their tasks looking like giant geese.
